CAR RENTAL CONDITIONS
What are the requirements for hiring a car or a utility vehicle?
- You must be at least 18 years old and have held a driving licence for more than one year (3 or 7 years for our high-end vehicles - touring cars, convertibles, sports coupés, 4X4 Prestige, etc.).
- If you are under 25, you will need to take out a "Young Drivers" insurance policy.
- You followed the acompanied driving training ? You can rent a van, an economic car or a compact car as soon as you get your driving license. In this case, you have to book directly in your Europcar branch and show your certificate of acompanied driving.
Who can drive the hire car?
You can insure one or more additional drivers. Remember to show the relevant driving licence(s) at the departure.
Do you need a special licence to hire a utility vehicle?
No. All you need is a simple B category driving licence to drive all our trucks.
